OBJECTIVES

  • To identify and support research projects on current and new uses of Antithrombin as a therapeutic product.
  • To establish new and long-lasting cooperation with participating scientists and clinicians, to strengthen and increase the existing network between researchers and the company and to foster relationships with KOLs in different fields.

FUNDING

The award program consists in one annual grant of EUR 50,000 for a 12-month research period


CRITERIA

Applications are evaluated based on four criteria:

  • Scientific merit
  • Innovation
  • Clinical / medical impact
  • Quality of research environment

CANDIDATES

The GATRA Program is available to scientists or clinicians with an innovative idea to gain more insight into the uses of Antithrombin. Applications are encouraged from both individuals and teams who may be undertaking research at hospitals, universities or independent institutions.


APPLICATION PROCESS

Eligible applicants are asked to submit a Letter of Intent outlining the aims of their research project. All Letters of Intent will be reviewed by the Review Committee who will select a number of candidates to submit a full proposal. The Jury/Review Committee will then evaluate full proposals in detail, before selecting the Awardees.
