OBJECTIVES

To recognize research that broadens the knowledge base of albumin's role as a therapeutic product.


FUNDING

The award program consists of two annual grants of EUR 50,000 each.  Funding is intended to support a 12 month project.


CANDIDATES

Scientists or clinicians with an innovative idea relevant to albumin research are invited to apply for the ALBUS Awards.  Applications are encouraged from either individuals or research teams who are engaged in research at universities, hospitals, or independent research institutions.


APPLICATION PROCESS

Eligible applicants must submit a Letter of Intent outlining the aims of their research project, together with:

  • The author's or authors' brief CV including basic details of the professional position.
  • Conflict of interests, disclosing sources of funding.
  • A letter of recommendation from the applicant's mentor verifying the originality of the research and the nature of the candidate's contribution.
